Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as an artist in mixed martial arts competing for the UFC at the flyweight division, is currently fighting. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started with her debut as a Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007, and a medal of bronze in 2008, and she won a gold medal in 2011. She was also crowned IFMA Amateur World Muaythai Champions in the year 2016. Antonia started her professional career in 2003. She was the winner of an award at the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in her last match at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She took victory by unanimous decision. Antonina shevchenko made her debut in a professional MMA fight in 2002 with Anara bayanova at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She won the second-round TKO fight, and the subsequent two matches during the WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. She was able to record her having a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She made her return with a win against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa through a unanimous decision, and later defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she left the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. The result was that Antonina was offered a UFC contract. Antonina was given an UFC contract after winning. Shevchenko won the fight through a unanimous win, however she fell in her second fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina came back from losing after defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the fight-ofthe-night prize. Shevchenko was 1-2 over the following three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, and lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
