Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using uppercase letters like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. The singer has recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by the band Oasis in a commercial for Christmas from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's endorsement of her track Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's appreciation. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music more as a hobby than a profession. In order to do so she wrote her first songs that were her own creations. As well as Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mother suggested that they can help other people, not gain acclaim for her work but to make people see around them realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their importance and the ways they could impact the world. The family did not know until the age of 14. It was never a dream to be Aurora. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. According to her, the music she writes is the way that she feels everything.
